The footprint of these renewable materials is significantly smaller than that of traditional plastics derived from fossil resources – Ingeo™ bioplastic, for instance, has a footprint up to 80% lower.
Our products are designed to turn into compost – a new, valuable and locally produced resource at the end of their useful life. A thin layer of compost can mitigate climate change by improving the soil’s ability to stabilise carbon and by increasing plant growth, which pulls more carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere.
